The Quickblade Stingray All Carbon Performance Stand Up Paddleboard Paddle is one of the most radical paddle designs the sport has ever seen. Originally developed for outrigger canoe racing, extensive testing quickly revealed major advantages for performance stand up paddleboarding. Its compact blade is roughly half the length of a traditional paddle blade, creating an exceptionally quick catch and release that feels fast, responsive, and incredibly efficient. The unique shape places the center of effort closer to the blade tip, producing a crisp, snappy stroke that many paddlers report translates into higher speeds and improved acceleration.

A thin foiled blade profile set at a 12-degree angle creates a wing-like effect through the water, helping extend the power phase of the stroke while maintaining an efficient release. To complement the blade design, Quickblade developed a specialized all carbon shaft featuring dual taper construction, reduced drag below the lower hand, and a subtle oval grip section for enhanced control. Available in both fixed and adjustable versions, the Stingray delivers an impressively rigid feel and has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most innovative performance paddles on the water.

Reach out to our paddle experts for size and fit recommendations, and to find out if the Stingray is right for you. Here’s a hint; it probably is.

We recommend sizing your Stingray Paddle 2" shorter than a traditionally shaped paddle. This is because he Stingray’s compact 10-inch blade places the center of effort nearly 3 inches closer to the tip than a traditional paddle, allowing it to enter the water and engage similarly while using your normal hand spacing. Based on feedback from hundreds of paddlers, most users find their ideal Stingray length is approximately 2 inches shorter than their previous paddle.

Please keep in mind every paddler is different, and has different requirements. Call, text, or email us to work with a paddle expert to help find your perfect size paddle.
